Finding a great last minute vacation is like finding any other vacation package, but it takes a little time, diligence, and effort. Now, there are generally only 4 important areas of the last minute travel that you need to make sure you keep inside mind.

But, the reason I repeat them is because to find the right traveling package for you or your family, you have got to want it bad enough. For example, if I bout the first package I saw when looking for a vacation, half of my retreats would become upsetting - financially, and relaxation-wise (because of the financial aspect of it).

If you’re planning a European vacation, why don’t you consider the island of Sardinia, a region of southern Italy? We’ll start our tour of southern Sardinia @ its capital and largest city, Cagliari on the Golfo di Cagliari (Cagliari Gulf). Then we head southwest along the coast to Pula and nearby Nora then continue on or close to the coast, first southwest then northwest to Sant’Antioco and neighboring Calasetta. We next visit the island city of San Pietro. Finally we return to mainland Sardinia then proceed north to finish our tour @ Costa Verde.

Eastern Congo: Looks like heaven, feels like hell
The government official spun around inside his chair, kicked an empty beer bottle w/ his heel and stared out of the window. “North Kivu looks like heaven,” the guy said.
I agreed. A sunbird sang and we sat for a moment inside silence, lost inside the sunset. Inside the distance, cormorants and cuckoo hawks circled high above the glassy waters of Lake Kivu. While the sky blackened and a plume of red smoke spurted from Nyiragongo volcano, the official took a long drag on his cigarette. “It feels like hell, my girl,” the guy said. The guy could have been talking about any 1 of a number of conflict zones: the white sands of Baghdad Island, Herat inside Afghanistan or Darfur’s mountainous Jebel Marra region, w/ its orchards, hot springs and long-drop waterfalls.
